| In this version we have completely rewritten the interface to all leave routines,
simplifying for our clients the complexity introduced by the Holidays Act 2003. Almost 10,000 lines of original source code has been written, together with
over 100 new help messages. It has not been a trivial task. Over the next few weeks, we shall be documenting the various changes, and
very slowly ship an updated version to any client that requests one. We shall also add a wide range of FAQ's about the new features to our website.
The version has been thoroughly tested by our developers, and by every staff member in our organisation.
In spite of this testing, 20 years experience in the Payroll Software Industry tells us there will be a small number of things we have overlooked.
Ace Payroll does not ship untested software in large numbers. In our experience a product is not fully tested until it has been used by a few hundred clients for about three months.
Accordingly, clients have the following choices -
To participate in our final test program, by installing the new version immediately. -
To wait a few more months, by which time the software will be fully tested and proven.
