Section 15 Extra day to be given when special holiday taken

Any public holidays observed while an employee is on holiday shall not be deducted from their holiday entitlement, if they would have usually worked on that day.

Where any special holiday for which a worker is entitled to payment under this [Act or any other Act or any employment contract] (or, as the case may
be, for which he would have been so entitled to payment if his employment had not been terminated) occurs during any period of an annual holiday allowed or deemed to be allowed in accordance with this
Act, the period of the annual holiday shall be deemed to be increased by one day in respect of that special holiday. Cf. 1944, No. 5, s. 3 (8); 1974, No. 149, s. 3
