Section 10 Labour Day

Labour day is always observed on the fourth Monday in October.

Legislation

Where in this Act or in any other Act or in any employment contract reference is made to Labour Day, that reference shall be deemed to be a reference to the fourth Monday in October.]

This section was substituted for the original s. 10 by s. 8 of the Holidays Amendment Act 1991.
