Recording Hours Worked Each Day

By defining a pay rate to represent each day of the week you can

  • Accurately record the hours worked each day by your employees.

  • Show the hours worked each day on employee payslips.

  • Produce accurate reports of your wage cost on a daily basis.

From the front screen select Setup then Company Defaults then Pay Rate Structure.

The following screen is shown

Define each rate to represent the day of the week.

Note we have related each day to the Monday rate.

By doing this, the Monday rate flows through to all other rates.

The days now show as the pay rates in the Pay Calculation screen.

Pressing the TAB key enables direct hours entry if required. See the Pay Calculation help message for more information on the TAB key operation.

The daily hours worked are reflected in the employee payslips, and flow through to all reports.
