  • We rewrote the ESCT features ready for the 01/04/2011 changes where the ESCT exemption on employer KiwiSaver contributions is removed. This means Ace Payroll automatically calculates ESCT for all employer contributions.
Technical
  • We made a change to the Options / Extra Pay / Retiring pay type, now including Retiring in the calculation for KiwiSaver contributions.
  • We made it harder to accidentally find and enable the Salary Sacrifice features as these schemes are obsolete due to recent legislative changes.

  • We added a dedicated Taxation tab to Employee / Modify Employee Details.
  • The SLCIR and SLBOR codes introduced by IRD from 01/04/2012 are handled from that date, with transitional handling from today.
  • We added a new Student Loan report which is accessed on a per employee basis.
  • You can now set a reducing balance for an SLCIR Student Loan deduction.
  • We updated our date selector object to make choosing a date range easier.

  • We made slight modifications to the KiwiSaver KS1 routine.
