New Employee Membership -
Note in the company setup screen the ability to automatically exempt all new employees as a default. -
This setting is contrary to the
KiwiSaver Automatic Enrolment rules, which requires all new employees to be enrolled unless they are exempt employees. -
As a default, Ace Payroll automatically enrols all new employees, unless they are exempt employees. -
Use this setting if employing mainly casual or transient workers for
whom the automatic enrolment provisions do not apply, but for some reason you pay them using one of the regular pay frequencies rather than casual. -
Note that with this setting, you would then manually enrol all new employees that are not exempt employees, from the KiwiSaver Employee Setup screen. | |
